Unless you've been living under a rock you've seen news headlines and social media dominated by the tragic death of an unarmed African American 18 year old man by a white police officer in Ferguson Missouri.
It has sparked such tension about racial divide, police discretion, and the essence of justice.
I personally am angered, confused, and just overall heartbroken about the event itself, the aftermath, and the social commentary from all point of views.
The fact of the matter is if I wasn't a man of faith I continued to feel those aforementioned things to the point of just downright depression. And this isn't just limited to Michael Brown but Ezell Ford, the crisis in Iraq, the Ebola crisis and a host of domestic and international problems that go on a daily basis.
It's because of hope I keep a positive attitude. I hope that the human race would work together to limit our host of problems. I hope that we would be more focused on saving each other rather than taking each other's lives. I just continue to hope that Love will rule the world....sooner rather than later....
